COVERING OF THE RAWA RIVER AND OPEN SEWERS
We designed and built a cover for the Rawa river. Scope of works included, among others:
• the construction of sewers of circular cross-section ø2400 mm starting from the culvert under the diametral highway (Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa, DTŚ) to Bytomska street in Świętochłowice,
• replacement of the existing cover of the canal from Bytomska street to Szpitalna street in Świętochłowice,
• construction of a single closed sewer in an existing waterbed starting from Szpitalna street in Świętochłowice to the inlet to the Klimzowiec waste water treatment facilities in Chorzów
• renovation of the existing open waterbed from the inlet to the waste water treatment facilities in Chorzów to the outlet of treated waste water in Katowice.
Covering of open sewers:
Czarny Rów – construction of two parallel sewers of a circular cross-section ø1800 mm
Suez – construction of a single closed sewer ø2000 mm
Johanka – construction of a sewer of a circular cross-section ø1000 mm
